Exam Centers Set for Nepali Army Military Post

The Public Service Commission, Surkhet Office, has published two separate notices fixing examination centers for the competitive written examination for the Nepali Army Military post. These notices have been issued to conduct the examination for candidates selected from the barracks in Surkhet and Rukum (West).
According to Notice No.: 73/082-83, under Advertisement No.: 082/83/29 (Open/Inclusive), candidates selected for the written examination from Shri Uttar Pashchim Pritana Headquarters, Nimare Barrack, Surkhet will sit for the examination in Surkhet.
For 253 candidates with registration numbers NWO-04 to NWO-1573, Shree Jan Namuna Secondary School, Birendranagar, Surkhet has been assigned as Examination Center “A”. For 250 candidates with registration numbers NWO-1574 to NWO-4557, Examination Center “B” has been assigned at the same school.
Likewise, according to Notice No.: 74/082-83, under the same advertisement number, candidates selected from Shri Chandidal Battalion, Salle Barrack, Rukum (West) will sit for the examination in Rukum (West).
For 92 candidates with registration numbers MWN-02 to MWN-243, Shree Tribhuvan Janata Secondary School, Musikot, Rukum (West) has been designated as the examination center.
The written examination in English, Nepali, Mathematics, and General Knowledge for candidates at both locations will be held on April 3, 2026 (2082 Chaitra 21), starting at 11:00 AM, and will continue for 2 hours 30 minutes.
The Commission has also clearly stated the mandatory instructions that candidates must follow. An admit card is compulsory for appearing in the examination. Candidates who need a duplicate copy of the admit card must collect it from the concerned office in advance.
Candidates will not be allowed to sit for the examination without the original certificate of Nepali citizenship or any photo identity card issued by the Government of Nepal.
Carrying bags, mobile phones, smart watches, and other electronic devices into the examination building is strictly prohibited. Only a pen or dot pen with black ink may be used in the examination.
While answering objective multiple-choice questions, only answers marked as A, B, C, or D in English capital letters will be recognized.

As candidates’ biometric attendance will be taken, they have been instructed to arrive at the examination center at least 2 hours before the examination begins.
