Students with 4 GPA Honored with Cash
Aandhikhola Rural Municipality, Syangja, has honored a student who achieved a 4 GPA in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) with a cash award.
Manisha Dhakal, who secured a 4 GPA from Sharada Mandir Secondary School located in Ward No. 6 of the rural municipality, was honored with a shawl, a certificate of appreciation, and Rs. 100,000.
Speaking at the honor program, Rural Municipality Chairperson Bishwanath Paudel said the student was honored as encouragement for raising the municipality’s prestige in the field of education. He said students who achieve excellent results in SEE and education and raise the municipality’s name high would also be honored in the coming years, not only this year.
Similarly, Bhirkot Municipality provided Rs. 15,000 to Nitesh Kafle of Shahid Shukra Secondary School, who achieved a 4 GPA, and Rs. 10,000 to Chahana KC, who achieved a 3.91 GPA.
