Agriculture and Forestry University Forms Committee to Investigate Study Leave and Possible Misuse
Agriculture and Forestry University has formed a committee to examine the status of study leave taken by its teachers and employees and investigate possible misuse of such leave.
According to a letter issued by University Registrar Prof. Dr. Subir Singh, the committee was formed on the basis of directives received from the Ministry of Education and Sports and the University Grants Commission, along with a decision of the University's Executive Council.
Who Are the Members of the Committee?
The committee has been formed under the coordination of Dr. Gandhiv Kafle, Dean of the Faculty of Forestry.
Its members are:

Scope of the Investigation
The committee will investigate all teachers and employees who have taken study leave since the establishment of the University, including those who entered University service after being integrated from other universities or institutions.
According to the University, the investigation will primarily examine:

the process through which study leave was approved;

the status and progress of the studies undertaken;

the purpose for which the leave was granted; and
-
the activities carried out by the concerned teachers and employees during the study-leave period.
Deadline for Submitting the Report
Under the assigned terms of reference, the committee has been instructed to conduct a detailed investigation into matters related to possible misuse of study leave and submit its report to the Office of the Registrar by 13 Poush.
