Badimalika Municipality Honors 22 People on 11th Establishment Day

Badimalika Municipality has celebrated its 11th establishment day with a grand programme, honoring 22 individuals from various fields. The municipal executive meeting had decided to make this year’s municipal day special by publicly honoring people on the basis of their contribution in professional, service and social sectors.

According to the municipality, outstanding individuals who have created a positive impact in society through education, health, agriculture, cultural preservation, administrative service, business, sports and other fields have been honored.

Those honored include journalist Daya Ram Pandit, Dr Himal Karki, Engineer Jung Thapa, Kare Rawal, teacher Dhan Bahadur Rawal, and from the arts sector Mahendra Dani, Suna Bik, Bisna Bist, Ram Bahadur Thapa, Ram Chandra Padhyaya, Vinod Singh, Agam Lwar, Pune Dani and ward secretary Amar Bhandari, among others.

Likewise, municipal employees Sushila Rawal, Tilak Nyaupane, Sushila Budhthapa, Bhakta B.K., Dhan Bahadur Rawal, Jay Bahadur Rawal, Ganesh Bist, Hindur B.K. and Chakra Rokaya were also honored on the same occasion, the municipality stated.

The municipality has said that, by encouraging social contribution, it will continue to organise similar programmes in the coming years as well.
