Examination Operation and Management Procedure 2077:

 Introduction: The Ministry of Science, Technology, and Technology, Government of Nepal has formulated and implemented this procedure as it is necessary to conduct effective and systematic public examination using public health safety standards.

1. Abbreviation and Start:

(1) The name of this working procedure is "Examination Operation and Management Procedure 2077".

(2) This procedure shall commence from the date approved by the Ministry.

2. Definition: If the subject or context does not have another meaning in this procedure ...

(A) "Examination" means the examination conducted in the institution through ILTS, TOEFL PTE, JLPT, SAT, GRE, GMAT or other similar parts and online systems.

(B) "Ministry" means the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

(C) "Institution" means a firm, company, or institution approved to conduct educational counseling service or language teaching or pre-preparation class in accordance with the Directive on Educational Counseling Services and Education.

3. Can conduct the examination: The institution may conduct the examination by arranging the physical infrastructure as per Article 4.

(2) When conducting the sub-section (1) Chamojin examination, the institution shall disclose the date, time, and place of the examination one week before the date of conducting the examination.

4. Provision of Physical Infrastructure: The institution wishing to conduct the examination should have arranged the following physical infrastructure: -

(A) The rooms of the examination center building are double ventilated and illuminated

(B) Arrangements have been made to conduct the examination in the examination room by maintaining a distance of two meters between each candidate and arranging seats in English L shape as far as possible.

(C) Ability to conduct the examination by keeping at least twenty candidates in the examination room at a distance of two meters.

(D) The examination center building is disability friendly and

(E) Provision of clean drinking water and clean toilet in the examination center.

5. Examination conducting process; The following procedure should be followed by the institution while conducting the examination

 (A) To disinfect the examination hall office room, toilet, door handle, electric switch, etc. before and after conducting the examination.

(B) At the main gate of the examination center, the staff, supervisors, concerned examinees and other entrants must make arrangements to take the temperature.

(C) The person measuring the temperature should wear safety shields and arrange for measuring the temperature in such a way that the distance of at least two meters can be broken.

(D) It will help to prevent the entry of the patient with cold and flu from entering the examination center and to send the busy person to the nearest health center.

(E) Arrangement of handwashing and sanitizer at the main gate of the examination center

(F) make it mandatory for the person entering the examination center to use a mask and glove,

(G) Regularly disinfect computer keyboards, telephones, and other materials used during the examination.

(H) to prevent unnecessary congestion in the examination center, and

[I) Proper management of garbage generated in the examination center.

6. able to monitor and inspect;

(1) The Ministry may (give) necessary instructions by monitoring and inspecting the examinations conducted by the institution.

(2) It shall be the duty of the concerned institution to follow the instructions given by the Ministry pursuant to Sub-section (1).

7. To be able to make additional arrangements: The institution may make additional arrangements for conducting the examination without contradicting this procedure.

8. Adherence to standards; The institute conducting the examination shall comply with all the standards related to infection control and prevention prescribed by the Government of Nepal or the Committees constituted by the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Health and Population, State, Local Level and Local Administration for control and prevention of COVID-19 infection.

9. Amendments: The Ministry may amend this procedure as required.

10. In case of conflict, any provision of this procedure will be invalid to the extent that it is in conflict with the prevailing law.
