Yogendra Gauchan, who has been appointed as a member of the Gandaki Province Public Service Commission, took the oath of office and secrecy on Wednesday. He was administered the oath of office by the chairperson of the commission Bishnu Nepal in a ceremony held at the office of the commission.
Speaker Netranath Adhikari, ministers, state assembly members, high-ranking government officials, and others were present on the occasion.
The Gandaki Province government had appointed Gauchan of Tamankhola village municipality-8 of Baglung district as a member of the Public Service Commission on July 31.
With the appointment of Gauchan, the Gandaki Province Public Service Commission has been completed, said Hari Prasad Bastola, chief secretary of the province. Earlier, Kalpana Lamsal has been appointed as a member of the commission.
