
UGC Approves Grant for Incubation Center at Purbanchal University
The University Grants Commission (UGC) of Nepal has approved a grant of NPR 1.8 crore for the establishment of an Incubation Center at Purbanchal University. This center is designed to promote innovation, research, and entrepreneurship among students across all faculties.
Prof. Dr. Biju Kumar Thapalia, Vice-Chancellor of Purbanchal University, stated that the support from UGC will be instrumental in establishing the Incubation Center. He emphasized that the center will foster a learning environment that prioritizes creativity, research, hands-on education, and startup development. He added that the initiative will contribute significantly to advancing academic excellence within the university.
