Materials must be taken from the Curriculum Development Centre website, distributed, and updated in IEMIS

Kathmandu | 2082/10/16

Under the Educational Quality Strengthening and Performance-Based Incentive Grant Program, a directive has been issued to print and distribute additional learning materials for students from Grade 1 to Grade 3. It has been informed that an annual budget of NPR 9,000 (nine thousand) per school has been allocated in the local levels of the specified districts.

This program has been implemented in line with Activity No. 2.7.13.13 of the program implementation procedure for the current fiscal year. Under this, additional learning materials for reading (language) and mathematics have been made available on the Curriculum Development Centre website. The concerned body has requested that these materials be printed and one set be distributed to each school.

This program has been applied to all local levels in Dhading, Lamjung, Gulmi, Rukum (East), Rukum (West), Jajarkot, Mugu, Humla, Bajura, Bajhang, Baitadi, and Darchula districts. After distributing the materials to schools in these districts, the distribution report must be mandatorily updated in IEMIS.

The list of materials to be distributed includes 15 reading (language) materials—such as “Anarkali ko Antarkatha,” “Aaja Maile Ke-Ke Jaane,” “Ko Kasari Bolchha,” and “Gurutwakarsan”—and 3 mathematics (SLM Maths) materials for Grades 1, 2, and 3, totaling 18 types of materials.

To update details in IEMIS, local levels must log in to their IEMIS and go to the Local Level Form, select the School Form, and choose the year 2082. After that, they must go to each school’s Action and open the School Form, and then tick the mark (* ✔ ) after providing the materials and after participation in the orientation.

It has also been instructed that, after ticking (* ✔ ) while updating details, the number of teachers from that school who participated in the orientation related to the implementation of the integrated curriculum for Grades 1–3 must be entered, and then updated or saved.
