Lockdown at Mahendra Bindeshwari Multiple Campus Over B.Ed. Exam Result
The Faculty of Education and Examination Section at Mahendra Bindeshwari Multiple Campus in Rajbiraj, Saptari, were locked on Friday. Students staged the lockdown after Thursday’s B.Ed. fourth-year results showed all students marked absent in the practical examination.
Student Union’s Allegation
Ranjit Kumar Yadav, President of the Independent Student Union at Rajbiraj Campus, accused the Faculty Head, Ramashish Yadav, and Examination Section Head, Chandeshwar Yadav, of not including practical exam marks because their personal interests were not met.
According to President Yadav, they were compelled to lock both sections and declared the lockdown will continue until the marks are included in the results. Due to the lockdown, examination section staff remain trapped inside while students continue their sit-in protest outside the section.
Campus Administration’s Response
Campus Chief Sushil Chandra Karna stated that coordination is underway to ensure the inclusion of practical exam marks. A total of 130 students had appeared in the B.Ed. fourth-year examination.
