Tribhuvan University to Digitalize Libraries

Tribhuvan University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Deepak Aryal has announced that libraries in various campuses and offices under the university will be digitalized.

Addressing a program organized on Friday by the TU Central Library on the occasion of the 18th Library Day, Vice-Chancellor Aryal emphasized the expansion of technology in libraries. He remarked that libraries are a treasure of knowledge and history, and highlighted the important role of the Central Library in book study, research journal publication, and library development.

Presentations on Research and Journals

At the program, former Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology Prof. Dr. Vinil Aryal reviewed the current status of research publications in Nepal, as well as the position of Nepali and international journals. On the occasion, he also presented a working paper on the subject.

Associate Professor Dr. Man Bahadur Khatri from the Central Department of Anthropology and Executive Director of Potent Media Home, Suresh Rizal, also presented working papers during the event.
