Machhapuchchhre IB World School Hands Over Canteen to Mahalaxmi Secondary School
Machhapuchchhre IB World School has formally inaugurated and handed over a modern canteen constructed at Mahalaxmi Secondary School in Lalitpur under its social responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The canteen was formally inaugurated by lighting a ceremonial lamp at a program chaired by Amrit Jung Mahat, Chairperson of the School Management Committee. The program began with the seating of guests, the presentation of khadas, and the national anthem.
Dr. Binod Prasad Yadav attended the program as the chief guest, while Education Director Devi Prasad Upadhyay and Kapil Mani Paudel, an officer at the Education Division and school inspector, participated as special guests. Following a welcome address by Principal Rajen Rai, the formal inauguration and handover of the newly constructed school canteen took place.
On the occasion, chief guest Dr. Yadav, Education Director Upadhyay, and School Inspector Paudel shared their views on the school’s academic development, expansion of physical infrastructure, and the creation of a student-friendly learning environment.
Individuals who had contributed to the education sector were presented with certificates of appreciation and tokens of remembrance during the program. Special honours were presented to the education director, school inspector, chairperson and founder of the donor school, former chairpersons and members of the School Management Committee, and Shanti Devi Upadhyay.
The program was conducted by Assistant Principal Ambika Limbu, with Rashmi Baral serving as the presenter. It formally concluded with closing remarks from School Management Committee Chairperson Amrit Jung Mahat.
