A task force formed to study the restructuring of graduate schools under Mid-West University has submitted its report, recommending improvements to make their organizational structures more systematic, effective, and responsive to current needs.

The task force submitted the report to Vice-Chancellor Er. Dr. Rajan Suwal and Registrar Dr. Sudip Thakuri on 11 Kartik 2083 BS.

The report was prepared under the coordination of Associate Professor Dr. Anand Prasad Subedi, Dean of the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences.

It includes findings and recommendations based on an assessment of the existing organizational structures, departmental management, and academic and administrative operations of the university's graduate schools.

As part of the study, the task force conducted separate meetings and interactions with officials, faculty members, and staff from various graduate schools.

During the initial phase, discussions were held at the Graduate School of Science and Technology and the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Subsequent interactions were conducted at the Graduate School of Education, Graduate School of Law, Graduate School of Management, Graduate School of Agriculture and Forestry, Graduate School of Engineering, and MUSOM.

The report was prepared based on the suggestions received from stakeholders and the findings of the restructuring study.

It examines the current status of the graduate schools, strengths of their existing organizational structures, areas requiring improvement, departmental management arrangements, and possible structural alternatives.

The report recommends reorganizing the graduate schools in alignment with the university's overall academic objectives, institutional requirements, and effective management practices.

The recommendations are expected to provide a basis for structural and managerial reforms across the graduate schools, improve departmental performance, and strengthen academic and administrative operations.
