Award Categories and Criteria

B.P. Koirala National Award, 2080
- Focus: Political Philosophy and Literature
- Eligibility: Contributions to the study, research, and writing in political philosophy, or academic roles that implement these ideas in Nepal. Significant contributions to Nepali and world literature through the discovery, study, and translation of B.P. Koirala's works.

History Shiromani Baburam Acharya National Award, 2080
- Focus: Nepali History
- Eligibility: Outstanding contributions to the study, research, and dissemination of Nepali history that have led to social transformation.

Yogamaya National Award, 2080
- Focus: Women's Rights and Social Work
- Eligibility: Women who have significantly contributed to social improvement, transformation, and legal support for women's rights in Nepali society.
Application Requirements
Applicants or nominators must submit the following documents to the Culture Division of the Ministry:
- Personal/Organizational Details: Full name, parent/spouse's name (if applicable), contact address, email, phone/mobile number, Permanent Account Number.
- Copy of Nepali Citizenship Certificate.
- Comprehensive biodata.
- Two passport-size photographs.
- Recommendation letter (if recommended by an institution).
- Details of published masterpieces or other relevant materials.
