Notice for Application Submitted for Model school

According to the annual program of fiscal year 2077/078, the Province No. 5, As there is a program to run at least one model school in each district out of the community secondary schools under 5, the schools that meet the minimum conditions for selection of model schools mentioned in the details have to prepare the detailed program and implementation plan of the program and the decision of the management committee within 30 days. This information has been published for the information of all concerned who submit an application along with school development proposals in the development division offices. Everyone is informed that no action will be taken on the proposal received after the stipulated time.
Terms:
1. There should be a community school with a secondary school.
2. In order to develop it as a model school, for the construction of physical and educational preconditions as per the prevailing criteria, the school should have a minimum of 1 bigha in the Terai and a minimum of 6 Ropanis in the mountains and hills.
3. In the case of land other than the land adjacent to the school, only land up to a maximum distance of 500 meters will be assessed.
4. The geographical location of the school should not be risky in terms of natural calamities including flood, landslide, and soil erosion as determined by the Basic Construction Criteria 2072 related to settlement development urban planning and building construction approved by the Government of Nepal.
5. The school should have students from class 1 to 10 with at least 250 students in the mountains, 450 in the hills, and 800 in the Terai.
6. Other Conditions: Schools wishing to participate in the selection of the model school must have fulfilled the following conditions in addition to the above conditions.
- The school management committee has been formed and is functioning.
- The school conducts social audits and audits on time annually,
- Submitted the statistics of the school to the concerned body within the stipulated time.
7. The application form for the model secondary school selection and the format of the school development proposal can be downloaded from the website of this directorate: www.eddmos.p5.gov.np.
8. A letter of recommendation should be attached to the proposal of the model school with the commitment to bear at least 20 percent of the total cost of the concerned local level.
9. The concerned local level will have to recommend only one school which has fulfilled the conditions mentioned in the notice.
10. The schools selected as model schools by the federal government and last A.V. Local-level schools selected as model schools by this directorate will not be included in it. If you want to know more about this, call the directorate at 071-445560.
