NATHM Calls Applications for Liaison Officer Induction Training
The Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM), Ravibhawan, Kalimati, Kathmandu, under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, has invited applications for Liaison Officer Induction Training to be deployed with mountaineering expeditions.
As per the approved annual program for the fiscal year 2082/83 BS, the training will be conducted in joint collaboration with the Nepal Mountain Academy.
The training will be held from March 14 to March 20, 2026 (2082 Chaitra 01 to 07 BS) from 7:00 AM at the Academy.
Eligible applicants
Applicants must meet the qualifications set out in Sub-rule (1) of Rule 8 of the Mountaineering Regulation, 2059 BS.
The following may apply:

Civil service employees holding the rank of non-gazetted first class or above
-
Officers of the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, or Armed Police Force equivalent to gazetted third class officers

Mount Everest climbers
Application deadline and fee
Interested candidates must submit the application form by March 13, 2026 (2082 Falgun 29 BS), along with certified copies of qualification certificates, departmental recommendation, and the voucher for the deposited training fee.
Fee: NPR 5,100 only
The fee may be deposited into the Academy’s current account at Citizen Bank International Ltd., Account No. 0110100000036201, at any branch, or at the extension counter located within the Academy premises.
Required documents
Applicants must attach the following documents with the application:

Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate

Two passport-size photographs

Copy of the certificate of bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification, including transcript and character certificate

Recommendation letter from the concerned ministry, department, or employing institution

For Nepali climbers who have successfully summited Mount Everest: copies of the certificate issued by the Department of Tourism and the certificate of passing the entrance examination

For employees appointed under the civil service and later adjusted to provincial or local levels: copy of the adjustment letter
