In the last 24 hours, 5 thousand 42 people have been infected with corona across the country and 8 thousand 243 people have been recovered. Another 68 died from a corona infection.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, PCR testing of 11,471 samples confirmed the infection of 3,540 people, and antigen testing of 5,343 people confirmed the infection of coronavirus (Covid-19) in 1,502 people. At the same time, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 598,204. Out of which 4 lakh 84 thousand 373 people have been recovered while 92 thousand 928 people are actively infected.
According to the ministry, 86,268 of the active infected people in the country are currently in home isolation. Similarly, out of 6,660 infected people in institutional isolation, 1,451 are undergoing treatment in ICU and 384 in the ventilator. Of the newly infected, 923 are from Kathmandu Valley.
