Nepal Medical Council Directs Payment of Outstanding Student Admission Fee Dues Within 21 Days
Nepal Medical Council has directed institutions and medical and dental colleges offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs to mandatorily pay the outstanding dues related to student admissions. The Council published a notice on 2082/12/27, giving a 21-day ultimatum to clear the unpaid amount.
According to the Council, despite repeated reminders to pay the amount due to Nepal Medical Council from student admissions, some institutions, medical and dental colleges have still not made the payment. The concerned colleges have been requested to mandatorily clear the outstanding dues within 21 days from the date of publication of the notice.
Action to Be Taken for Non-Payment of Dues
As per the decision of the Council’s full meeting, institutions, medical and dental colleges that fail to pay the outstanding dues within the prescribed period will face the following action:

The Council will suspend students’ examination registration.

The registration of foreign national physician teachers will be suspended.

The names of institutions, medical and dental colleges that fail to pay the outstanding dues on time, along with details of the unpaid amount, will be made public.
