The online application for the Foreign Study Permit (No Objection Letter) being issued by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology was inaugurated today, 2077-03-31 by the Hon'ble Minister of Education, Science, and Technology, Giriraj Mani Pokharel. From now on, the students who want to get the No Objection Letter can apply directly through www.noc.moest.gov.np without having to come to the Foreign Study Permit Branch, Keshar Mahal and be informed whether the application form has been approved or not. Upon receipt of the said information, the applicant will be informed by email on the date of receipt of No Objection Letter after depositing the revenue fee in the specified bank. After receiving the information, it is informed that the foreign study permit can be collected at Keshar Mahal within the stipulated time.

This system will facilitate the flow of services as well as facilitate the identification of No Objection Certificate to various banks in Nepal who have been assisting in sending fees to foreign universities, colleges or educational institutions and will help the Immigration Office to verify the actual student.
