Palungtar Municipality Invites Proposals for Municipal Anthem
Palungtar Municipality in Gorkha has invited proposals to create a Municipal Anthem that reflects its historical, cultural, and social identity, as well as its aspirations for prosperity.
The Office of the Municipal Executive published the third public notice on २०८३/०४/११, inviting interested creators, poets, lyricists, composers, and Nepali citizens to submit proposals for the anthem’s lyrics and tune.
Themes to Be Included in the Municipal Anthem
The proposed Municipal Anthem must include the following themes:

The historical, cultural, and geographical identity of Palungtar Municipality.

A spirit of social harmony, unity, development, and prosperity.

A sense of nationalism and local pride.
Municipal Anthem Standards

The lyrics must be in the Nepali language and contain between 40 and 60 words.

The words must be simple and suitable for people of all age groups to sing.

The lyrics and tune must be original and must not have been previously published or used.
Required Materials and Submission Deadline
Applicants must submit the following materials with their proposals:

Lyrics of the Municipal Anthem.

Tune or music, if available.

A brief introduction and contact details of the creator.
Interested individuals may submit their proposals during office hours to the Office of the Municipal Executive of Palungtar Municipality or by email, if preferred, within seven days from the notice publication date of २०८३/०४/११.
Selection, Award, and Other Provisions
The notice states that a selection committee formed by the municipality will select a suitable Municipal Anthem from the proposals received.
The creator of the selected anthem will be honoured by the municipality and provided with an award as prescribed.
The municipality may revise the selected anthem if deemed necessary and reserves the right to cancel the notice partially or entirely.
The full copyright of the finally selected Municipal Anthem will remain with Palungtar Municipality.
