Scholastic Foundation Nepal Selected in World Book of Records 2020:

The Scholastic Foundation Nepal of Bhaktapur has been selected in the list of world records published by the World Book of Records. An organization called World Book of Records Limited in the United Kingdom publishes world record books at different times.

The name of the foundation has also been included in the book of the silver edition of the year 2020 of the World Book of Records. The certificate was handed over to the foundation by Education and Science and Technology Minister Giriraj Mani Pokhrel on Wednesday, said Sasmit Pokhrel, chairperson of the foundation.

The Foundation had organized a program called Aspire Scholastic Meet at New Capital College Ratnanagar Chitwan in August last year. The program was organized on the theme of Visit Nepal 2020 in 13 different fields including debate, rhetoric, essay writing, and painting.

Nepal Tourism Year 2020 was made the main theme of the competition. The foundation has succeeded in obtaining the certificate after going through various processes in the list of world records.

Prajwal Bhattarai, Founder Chairman of the Foundation, said that 13 different types of competitions including oratory, essay writing, and painting have been organized in one place at the Scholastic Meet 2019. Stating that they have worked to awaken the students' appetite for creativity, Sasmit Pokhrel, chairperson of the foundation, said that the honor of the World Book of Records has added more energy to them.

Bhattarai also announced eight different programs through a press conference. He said that the purpose of the foundation is to interview the students with their art as they have different talents. The foundation was established two years ago. The foundation has stated that it is conducting programs all over the country in coordination with the federal, state, and local governments to inspire the students for the creation and to awaken their hunger for intellect.
