The letter, dated 2083/07/20 and signed by Chief Administrative Officer Dhaniram Sharma, was addressed to all community and institutional schools in Simta Rural Municipality, Surkhet, under the subject "Regarding the Conduct of Teaching and Learning Activities."
According to the letter, the Government of Nepal's Council of Ministers decided on Chaitra 22, 2082, to provide two public holidays per week, on Saturdays and Sundays. However, the municipality stated that this arrangement had affected teaching and learning activities at the school level.
