TU Clarifies No Decision to Halt NCC Fee Hike
Tribhuvan University (TU) has clarified that no decision has been made to stop the fee increase at Nepal Commerce Campus (NCC), Minbhawan.
Previously, an agreement had been reached between the campus administration and the Free Student Union to halt the annual 10% fee hike in the BBS program.
Following the agreement, the campus administration had recommended the matter to TU's Office of the Registrar. However, the Registrar's Office has stated that no decision has been taken to stop the fee increase.
Expressing strong objection to the Registrar's response, Free Student Union President Bishal Rokaya urged the authorities to immediately correct the decision, stating that it imposes an unnecessary financial burden on students. He also warned of further protest programs if necessary.
