TU to Launch PhD in Sanskrit Under Humanities
Tribhuvan University (TU) will begin PhD-level study in Sanskrit under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences from the coming year. Assistant Dean Dr. Bamdev Adhikari said that the Faculty Council meeting had decided to introduce the PhD program in Sanskrit.
According to Assistant Dean Dr. Adhikari, the meeting also decided that the results of all examinations under the Faculty of Humanities would be published within one hundred days. In addition, he informed that TU is also set to launch a theater program in Mass Communication and Journalism.
Similarly, the Faculty Council meeting decided to cancel the affiliation of Navakshitij College in Bardibas, Mahottari. The meeting also decided to grant permission for postgraduate-level teaching in Mass Communication and Journalism to Ratna Rajya Lakshmi Campus in Exhibition Road and in Political Science to Saraswati Campus in Thamel.
