TVS Apache RTR 160 4V launched in Nepal

TVS has launched their all new Apache RTR 160 4V motorcycle in Nepal. The company is looking to carry on its racing legacy of the TVS Apache RTR series with the new product being the most powerful 160cc motorcycle in the country. Jagdamba Motors, the sole authorized distributor of TVS products in Nepal has announced the nationwide availability of the Apache RTR 160 4V According to the press statement issued by the company, the all-new Apache RTR 160 4V will be available in three colours, Racing Red, Metallic Blue and Knight Black. Pricing for the RTR 160 4V has been set at NRs. 279, 000 for the first 500 customers. The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has a powerful 160cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, 4-valve engine that churns out 16.5 PS and nearly 15Nm of torque. It is mated to a 5-speed super-slick gearbox. The company claims that the new motorcycle has the best-m-class power to weight ratio with a top speed of 113km/h.

It comes with TVS's patented double-cradle split synchro stiff frame design which gives excellent high-speed stability and superior handling, states the release. With multiple motorcycle racing championship wins, TVS has utilized their knowledge to finely tune the mono-shock suspension to ensure razer sharp handling and agility through the corners. All of this comes together to form the new Apache RTR 160 4V which the company claims can do 0 to 60km/h in just 4.73 seconds.

It also comes with a fully digital console that displays a plethora of information that is easy to read even while riding. Those who have ridden previous Apache motorcycles will be familiar with the riding stance of the RTR 160 4V, which is forward biased and sporty. The right proportions of the motorcycle is complemented by the aggressive headlamp, chiseled body, and a sleek, sharp tail. To further highlight its racing heritage, the motorcycle comes with chequered flag decals on the tank.
