Notice for Application for University-Level STEAM Competition Program
The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, Singha Durbar, Kathmandu, has issued this notice in accordance with the approved annual program for Fiscal Year 2082/083. The objective is to conduct a competition among students enrolled in universities or their constituent, affiliated campuses, or colleges for the creation of STEAM-related materials.

This year’s competition topic is specified in the Terms of Reference (T.O.R.) under Schedule-5 of the related procedure. In the first phase of the program, applications will be invited from individual students or student groups pursuing higher education in universities or their constituent or affiliated campuses/colleges. From the applications received, selections will be made for the second phase, and the selected student groups will be given a period of five (5) months to develop their proposed creations.
Each selected student or student group will receive financial assistance of up to NPR 150,000 (One Lakh Fifty Thousand) per project, as per the provisions of the “Procedure for Conducting University-Level Competition Program on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM), 2082.”
Interested students must submit their applications by scanning and emailing all required verified documents, prepared in the format prescribed under Part (a) and (b) of Schedule-2 of the procedure, to innovation@moest.gov.np no later than 2082/08/07. Applications received after the deadline or those that do not meet the required format will not be considered for selection.
The mentioned procedure can be viewed or downloaded from the Ministry’s official website at www.moest.gov.np. All concerned individuals are requested to take note accordingly.
