Gandaki Province PSC Recommends Alternate Candidate for Senior Administrative Assistant

The Gandaki Province Public Service Commission (PPSC), Pokhara has recommended an alternate candidate for the 5th level Senior Administrative Assistant post under the Provincial and Local Administration Service.
Issuing a notice today (2082.10.13), the Commission recommended a candidate from the alternate merit list for permanent appointment to fill a vacant post.
Background of the Vacancy
According to the Commission’s Interview and Recommendation Section, under Advertisement No. 5501/2081-82 (Open), the candidate ranked 21 in the merit list, Chandradev Joshi, had been recommended for Manang Ngisyang Rural Municipality, Manang.
However, the post became vacant after he was recommended by the Public Service Commission, Dipayal Office for the post of Nayab Subba.
While proceeding to recommend a candidate from the alternate list to fill the vacancy, it was found that the candidate ranked 5 in the alternate merit list, Naresh Bohara, had also been recommended by the Public Service Commission, Jaleshwar Office for the post of Nayab Subba (Judicial Service).
Therefore, the Commission stated that, after removing their names, a decision was made on 2082.10.12 to recommend the candidate ranked 6 in the alternate merit list, Saroj Khatri, for the vacant post.
