Gandaki Province PSC Recommends Alternate Candidate for ANM Post

The Gandaki Province Public Service Commission (PPSC), Pokhara has recommended an alternate candidate for the 4th level ANM (A.N.M.) post under the Provincial and Local Health Service.
Issuing a notice today (2082.10.13), the Commission recommended a candidate from the alternate merit list for permanent appointment to fill a vacant post.
Background of the Vacancy
According to the Commission’s Interview and Recommendation Section, under Advertisement No. 4023/2081-82 (Women), the candidate ranked 4 in the merit list, Ajita Gaha, had been recommended for Dhaulagiri Rural Municipality, Myagdi.
However, the post became vacant after she was recommended by the Public Service Commission, Kathmandu Office for the 5th level Staff Nurse post, received permanent appointment, and departed.
While proceeding to recommend a candidate from the alternate list to fill the vacancy, it was found that the candidate ranked 4 in the alternate merit list, Srijana Rawat, had already received appointment as an ANM through the Karnali Province Public Service Commission.
Therefore, the Commission stated that, after removing their names, a decision was made on 2082.10.12 to recommend the candidate ranked 5 in the alternate merit list, Susmita Kumari Oli, for the vacant post.
