Applications Invited for UIU BSc in Data Science Scholarship
Kathmandu. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has invited scholarship applications from Nepali students to study BSc in Data Science at United International University (UIU) in Bangladesh. The Ministry published a notice on 2083/01/17, requesting eligible and interested Nepali students to submit online applications within the prescribed period.
Based on a letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and details received through the Embassy of Nepal in Dhaka, UIU has requested the nomination of two Nepali students with scholarships. Among the requested subjects, the Ministry’s notice states that, for BSc in Data Science, one seat has been allocated under the open category and one seat for women as per Rule 10(a) of the Scholarship Rules, 2060.
According to the Ministry, the decision to call for scholarship applications was made on 2083/01/17. Eligible and interested Nepali students must study the attached documents and apply through the prescribed Google link from 2083/01/18 to 2083/01/25, Friday, within office hours. The notice also mentions the English date May 8, 2026.
Minimum Required Qualification
Students wishing to apply must have passed Grade 12. In addition, the Ministry has stated that applicants must have obtained the Entrance Result/Score Card for the bachelor’s level Data Science subject from the School of Mathematical Sciences under the Institute of Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University.

Nomination Requested by UIU
According to the attached letter, United International University has requested the nomination of two eligible students from Nepal. UIU has stated that it will provide a 100 percent tuition fee scholarship for Nepali students.
