Applications Invited for Executive Director Post at Civil Service Hospital
The Government of Nepal, Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration, has invited applications for appointment to the post of Executive Director of the Civil Service Hospital. The Ministry published the notice for the first time on 2083/03/05, informing qualified and interested Nepali citizens to submit applications within 15 (fifteen) days.
This appointment is being made in accordance with Section 6 of the Civil Service Hospital Development Committee (Formation) Order, 2064, and the Civil Service Hospital (Appointment, Functions, Duties, Powers, and Service Facilities of the Executive Director) Regulations, 2077.
Interested candidates must submit their applications in the format mentioned on the Ministry’s website (www.mofaga.gov.np) and the Civil Service Hospital’s website (www.csh.gov.np). Applications must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Employee Welfare Section of the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration during office hours.
Application Fee and Bank Details
The application fee has been set at Rs. 5,000/- (five thousand rupees). The original voucher of the amount deposited in the bank account of Civil Service Hospital at Agricultural Development Bank Limited, New Baneshwor Branch, Account No. 0210200053783017, must be submitted along with the application.
Required Documents to be Attached with the Application

Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate.

Self-attested copy of the certificate showing completion of a postgraduate academic degree in medical science or hospital management from a university recognized by the Government of Nepal.

Self-attested copy of the certificate, if the applicant has obtained a PhD or equivalent degree in medical science or hospital management.

Details and self-attested copy of the certificate, if the applicant has completed 30 working days of training in hospital administration or hospital management from a recognized institution.

Self-attested copy of documents proving publication of a research article by the applicant in an indexed journal on a subject related to hospital management, if any.

Documents and details showing that, as mentioned in Serial No. 2 of Regulation 13 of the related Regulations, 2077, the applicant has obtained a postgraduate degree in medical science or hospital management from a recognized university and has worked for at least 15 years in the field of medical science or hospital management in at least a Gazetted Second Class or equivalent post.

A sealed envelope containing a four-year professional work plan, including a leadership role, on the management, operation, development, and expansion of the hospital, not exceeding 5,000 words.

Departmental approval letter from the concerned office, if a permanent employee working in government service, other public service, or an organized institution wishes to apply.

Bank voucher/receipt showing deposit of Rs. 5,000 as the application fee.
Selection Method
A shortlist of candidates will be published on the basis of the documents submitted by the applicants. After that, the recommendation committee will evaluate candidates by adopting the following methods:

Evaluation of academic qualification, experience, and training, and evaluation of published research articles

Evaluation of the professional work plan

Presentation of the professional work plan

Interview
Additional Rules to Note

If the last day for submitting the application falls on a public holiday, the application may be submitted within office hours on the following day.

The outside of the sealed envelope submitted with the application must clearly mention: “Professional Work Plan for the Post of Executive Director of Civil Service Hospital.”

Candidates selected for interview must submit the original copies of the certificates and documents submitted with the application before the interview.
