Finance Ministry Calls Applications for Employee Provident Fund Administrator

Kathmandu — The Government of Nepal, Ministry of Finance, has called applications through open competitive competition to fill the vacant post of Administrator at the Employee Provident Fund.

The Administrator Selection and Recommendation Committee of the Ministry published the notice for the second time on 2083/03/12, requesting interested Nepali citizens who meet the qualifications to submit applications.

According to the notice, candidates must submit confidential sealed applications within office hours by Ashadh 22, 2083 (2083/03/22).

Application Place and Process

Place: Candidates must submit their applications to the Financial Sector Management and Public Enterprise Coordination Division, Ministry of Finance, Singha Durbar, Kathmandu.

Sealing and indication: While submitting the application, the envelope must clearly mention “Application and Business Action Plan for the Administrator of Employee Provident Fund” on the outside.

Required documents: Copies of educational qualifications, experience documents, Nepali citizenship certificate, personal details, and two passport-size photographs must be submitted along with the application.

Business action plan: The candidate must submit a sealed business action plan prepared in no more than 5,000 words.

Certification: The documents, details, and self-declaration as per Section 3 of the procedure, 2083, published on the website of the Ministry of Finance, must be certified by the applicant and submitted.

Qualification and Experience

Candidates must have the qualification and experience as per Section 6A of the Employee Provident Fund Act, 2019.

Candidates must not be disqualified as per Section 4 of the Standards Relating to Appointment and Nomination of Officials and Members of Public Bodies Associated with the Ministry of Finance, 2073.

Application Fee and Bank Details

Candidates must submit the original voucher for the deposit of Rs. 5,000/- (five thousand rupees only) as the application fee along with the application. The details for depositing the fee are as follows:

Other Important Information

Presentation: Candidates shortlisted for selection must present the business action plan they have submitted on the prescribed date and time.

Remuneration: The Administrator will be provided monthly remuneration and other service benefits based on the terms mentioned in the contract.

Action: If false details or documents are submitted, the application will be cancelled, and action will be taken in accordance with prevailing law. The Application Selection and Recommendation Committee reserves the right to cancel the application, with or without stating any reason.
