The Province Public Service Commission, Lumbini Province has cancelled various advertisements for Fourth Level posts under the Agriculture Service within the Provincial Civil Service. Issuing Notice No. 183/082-83, the Commission stated that the advertisements were cancelled because the number of posts needs to be adjusted.
This action was taken in line with the Commission’s decision dated February 16, 2026 [2082-11-04 (BS)], following a letter dated February 13, 2026 [2082-11-01 (BS)] from the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives, Lumbini Province, requesting a reduction in the number of posts. The Ministry requested that the number of posts for Animal Health Technical Assistant (Veterinary) be reduced from 2 to 1, and the number of posts for Animal Service Technical Assistant (La.Po.De.De.) be reduced from 3 to 0 (zero).
Under Section 19 of the Province Public Service Commission Act, 2076, among the advertisements published on February 5, 2026 [2082-10-23 (BS)], Advertisement No. 53029/082-83 for Animal Health Technical Assistant (Veterinary), Fourth Level, has been cancelled for 1 post under the Adivasi Janajati Women category.
Similarly, the Commission has also cancelled the following related to Animal Service Technical Assistant (La.Po.De.De.): Promotion Notice No. 179/082-83 (Performance Evaluation, 1 post), Advertisement No. 53035/082-83 (Open, 1 post), and Advertisement No. 53042/082-83 (Adivasi Janajati Women, 1 post).
