Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must not be disqualified under Section 16 of the Provincial Civil Service Act, 2077 and must meet the minimum educational qualifications below.
Administration
General Administration Group
SLC or equivalent passed from a recognized educational institution
Accounts Group
SLC or equivalent passed from a recognized educational institution with Mathematics or Ain Sreshta or Optional Account as a subject
Engineering
Civil Group, Sanitary Sub-group (KhaPaSaTe (Water Supply and Sanitation))
SLC or equivalent passed from a recognized educational institution, with training in water supply and sanitation, or two years of experience in the relevant subject
Agriculture
Fisheries Group
SLC passed from a recognized educational institution with at least one-year JTA (Agriculture or Animal Science) training, or TSLC passed with Agriculture or Animal Science as a subject
Veterinary Group
SLC passed from a recognized educational institution with at least one-year JTA Animal Science (animal husbandry, animal health) training, or TSLC passed with Agriculture (animal husbandry, animal health) as a subject
Livestock Production and Dairy Development Group
SLC passed from a recognized educational institution with at least one-year JTA (Animal Science, animal husbandry, animal health) training, or TSLC passed with Agriculture (animal husbandry, animal health) as a subject
Health

AHW or CMA course passed from a recognized educational institution
Notes
Note: The educational qualifications prescribed for various groups and grades under the Agriculture Service published in the Nepal Gazette dated 2068/08/25 will not apply to civil servants who entered service before the publication of this notice; for such civil servants, the provisions mentioned in the previous rules will apply.
Note: If educational qualification has been obtained under a grading system, the candidate must have obtained a GPA of 1.6 or above.
Additional Documents and Experience Requirements
Applicants must have the required documents at the time of application. After being selected for interview, candidates must bring originals and self-attested copies. If the listed documents are not in the candidate’s possession at the time of application, the application may be cancelled at any time.
Inclusive Category Verification Documents
Madheshi
Certification from the institution designated by the Provincial Government through the Provincial Gazette. Until then, certification by the Chief District Officer based on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level.
Dalit
Based on the list of castes registered by the National Dalit Commission. If multiple surnames exist within a listed caste, certification by the Chief District Officer based on recommendation of the head of the concerned local level confirming the surname.
Muslim
Based on the list registered by the National Muslim Commission. If multiple surnames exist within a listed caste, certification by the Chief District Officer based on recommendation of the head of the concerned local level certifying the person as Muslim.
Adivasi/Janajati
Based on the list under the Nepal Adivasi/Janajati Upliftment National Foundation Act. If multiple surnames exist within a listed group, certification by the Chief District Officer based on recommendation of the head of the concerned local level confirming the surname.
Tharu
Based on the list registered by the National Tharu Commission. If multiple surnames exist within a listed caste, certification by the Chief District Officer based on recommendation of the head of the concerned local level certifying the person as Tharu.
Disability
Disability identity card issued by the Social Welfare Council, or a Class A or Class B disability identity card issued by the concerned local level mentioning the classification as per Section 4(3) of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2074.
Note: As per Section 9(11) of the Provincial Civil Service Act, 2077, the reservation benefit can be used only once during the entire service period.
Remarks

If experience is required, the minimum experience period must be completed by the final date eligible to apply.

The double-fee deadline will not be counted for age, educational qualification, experience period, and other qualification requirements.

Applications not submitted within the prescribed deadline, not meeting minimum qualifications, missing required details, or not paying the fee will not be accepted.

Candidates requesting a scribe must contact the Province Public Service Commission, Madhesh Province, Janakpurdham at least seven days before the written exam starts; otherwise, a scribe will not be mandatory to provide.

Candidates who pass the written exam must submit original certificates and required documents before the interview, along with copies.

The required educational qualification must be obtained by the final application date. Candidates with foreign qualifications must have equivalence determined by the concerned authority.
