Position: Country Director - NepalOxfam is an international confederation of 19 organizations networked together in more than 90 countries, as part of a global movement for change, to build a future free from the injustice of poverty. Oxfam has been working in Nepal since the early 1980s undertaking various development initiatives addressing the poverty and injustice faced by the population, especially women and other socially and economically excluded groups. Oxfam is looking for a dynamic team player in the following position for our National program.

Location: Kathmandu
Preference for a national candidate; open to all nationals
The Role
The Country Director is responsible to contribute and implement Oxfam's Global Strategy, by providing vision and strategic direction to all of Oxfam's work in the Country. This includes Oxfam's humanitarian responses, long term development program design and implementation, advocacy and policy, campaigns and influencing.
We are looking for a dynamic, charismatic and inspiring leader with a strong commitment to Oxfam's values and beliefs with significant senior leadership and management experience in the development and delivery of high-quality programs, influencing and humanitarian strategy, with and through partners or directly, in one or more challenging locations.
