Patan Academy of Health Sciences Service Commission Internal Competition and Open/Inclusive Advertisement
Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS), as per the approval received from the Public Service Commission, invites online applications for permanent appointment through open and inclusive competitive selection for the vacant posts listed below under Academic, Technical, and Administrative Services.
Eligible Nepali citizens who have completed 21 (twenty-one) years of age for officer-level posts and 18 (eighteen) years of age for assistant-level posts may apply. The maximum age limit shall be as follows: 45 years for Assistant Professor under Academic Service, 40 years under Technical Service, and 35 years under Administrative Service.
For internal competition, permanent employees currently working one level below and meeting the qualifications prescribed by the PAHS Regulations may apply, provided they have completed at least 3 (three) years of permanent service for assistant level and at least 4 (four) years of permanent service for officer level within the relevant service group.
Online applications are invited in the prescribed manner by depositing the fee by 2082/10/22 and submitting the online application by 2082/10/29. In the case of permanent employees currently serving at PAHS under open and inclusive category, the age limit shall not apply.
Applications that are not uploaded online within the prescribed time and those that do not meet the required procedure will not be processed. If false details are found to have been provided, the candidate shall be personally responsible. After the final deadline for submitting applications (2082/10/22), educational qualifications, inclusive category certificates, council registration certificates, training, experience, service period, and publications obtained thereafter will not be accepted.
Documents to Upload with Online Application
Clear and readable scanned copies of the following documents must be uploaded online along with the application:

Recently taken passport-size photograph with both ears clearly visible

Inclusive Category Documents

For Adivasi/Janajati: If the caste/ethnicity is listed under the Nepal Adivasi/Janajati Upliftment National Foundation Act, certification based on that list; however, if more than one surname exists within the listed caste, a document certified by the Chief District Officer, based on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level, confirming the surname within the listed caste

For Madhesi: Document certifying Madhesi status issued by the institution designated by the Government of Nepal through a notice in the Nepal Gazette; until such institution is designated, a document certified as Madhesi by the Chief District Officer based on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level

For Dalit: If the caste is listed by the National Dalit Commission, certification based on that list; however, if more than one surname exists within the listed caste, a document certified by the Chief District Officer, based on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level, confirming the surname within the listed caste

For Persons with Disability: Disability identity card issued by the Social Welfare Council, or a disability identity card issued by the concerned local level specifying the classification of disability as per Section 4(3) of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2074

For Backward Area: Based on the recommendation issued up to 3 months prior to the date of filling the application form, citizenship certificate obtained from the concerned district showing permanent residence in the districts mentioned under Section 7(7) of the Civil Service Act, 2049 and the clarification section (1) of Section 17 of the Parliament Secretariat Act, 2064, along with a document from the concerned local level certifying current permanent residence at the same place

If citizenship was taken from a district other than the district of permanent residence, a letter stating the reason obtained from the District Administration Office that issued the citizenship

If moved due to marriage or migration: marriage registration certificate (for marriage) and migration-related documents showing the previous and new local level/institution (for relocation)

Other Important Information

A digital copy of the candidate’s signature (image/jpg/jpeg/png) must be uploaded.

The written examination fee must be paid into the Academy’s account through the online payment option available within the application list.

The written examination will be conducted by the Public Service Commission.

Candidates who are disqualified under Rule 18 of the PAHS Employee Service Conditions and Facilities Regulations, 2067 (Eighth Amendment) are not eligible to apply.

Applications found ineligible at any time under the PAHS Employee Service Conditions and Facilities Regulations, 2067 (Eighth Amendment) and prevailing laws, or not meeting the qualifications mentioned in the notice, may be cancelled at any time.

For promotion under Academic Service of PAHS, eligibility must be as per Schedule 2 (Ga) related to Rule 17 of the PAHS Employee Service Conditions and Facilities Regulations, 2067 (Eighth Amendment).

Assistant Professor:

(a) At least two years of experience in the relevant field

(b) At least two articles published in peer-reviewed journals in the relevant subject, with the candidate as the main author in at least one publication

For internal competition applications: a verified recommendation letter from the concerned department/school chief certifying completion of the required permanent service period (4 years for officer level and 3 years for assistant level) as per rules

For open category Level 9 (Ka) Nursing Supervisor post: candidates must have 5 years of work experience at officer level in civil service, government service, university, teacher service, an organized institution registered as per prevailing laws, or an international organization/institution; however, for candidates holding a PhD degree, experience may be 2 years less
