Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited, with the consent of the Public Service Commission (PSC/Lok Sewa Aayog), has published a notice for permanent recruitment of 62 Assistant posts. Under Level 4, the bank has called for online applications for vacant posts in the Administration group and Cash group across provincial and branch offices.

The bank has demanded a total of 62 employees: 43 in the Administration group under the Administration service, and 19 in the Cash group under the Administration service. These advertisements are targeted for offices under Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati (outside the Valley), Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces. Out of the total demand, 38 posts are for open competition and the remaining 24 posts are reserved for various inclusive groups.

Key Highlights

Permanent recruitment will be done for 62 posts under Level 4 in the Administration and Cash groups.
Only candidates who have passed the Pre-Qualification Examination conducted on 2024-10-31 [2081-07-15 (BS)] may apply.
The last date to submit a regular application is 2026-03-05 [2082-11-21 (BS)].
Successful candidates will be posted in the concerned province for a minimum of 7 years.
The selection process will include a written examination and interview conducted by the Public Service Commission.

Eligibility

Minimum Qualification: 10+2 (Grade 12) or equivalent.

Pre-Qualification Requirement: Must have passed the Pre-Qualification Examination conducted by the Public Service Commission on 2025-10-31 [2082-07-15 (BS)].

Age Limit (by 2026-03-05 [2082-11-21 (BS)]):

Must have completed 18 years and not exceeded 35 years.
For women and persons with disabilities, the age limit is up to 40 years.
The above age limit will not apply to permanent employees currently working in the bank.

If the last date falls on a public holiday, the application can be submitted until the day the office reopens after the holiday.

Application Fee and Payment

Exam Fee: NPR 500 for the open group.
Additional Inclusive Group Fee: NPR 100 for each additional inclusive group.

If applying under only one inclusive group, the fee remains NPR 500. If applying under more than one inclusive group, NPR 100 is added for each additional inclusive group.

Payment Methods: NamastePay, ConnectIPS, eSewa, Khalti, or other specified methods.

Payment Process:

Fill personal, family, address, and educational details in the Online Application Portal.
Go to the Vacancy List, select the advertisement and group you want to apply for, and submit the application.
Then go to the My Application tab and pay via the available method.
If applying for more than one advertisement, the fee must be paid separately for each advertisement.

Applicants will receive SMS and email updates about payment status, application approval, redraft requirement, or rejection. Applicants must ensure whether they have received the relevant SMS/email.

Selection Method

Selection Process: Written examination and interview.

Only candidates who passed the Pre-Qualification Examination conducted on 2025-10-31 [2082-07-15 (BS)] can fill the application form.
Only candidates who pass the written exam will be eligible for the interview.
Marks from the Pre-Qualification Examination will not be added.
The first paper of the written exam will be the same under the integrated examination system of Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited, Nepal Bank Limited, and Agricultural Development Bank Limited.

Probation Period:

Women employees: 6 months
Men employees: 1 year

Posting: Employees appointed under the above advertisements will be posted in the concerned province (and, for Bagmati Province, in Bagmati Province offices outside the Valley) and must work there for at least 7 years.

Inclusive Group Documentation Requirements (Online Attachments)

Applicants applying for posts reserved for inclusive groups must scan and attach documents based on the following:

Adivasi Janajati: Based on the list under the Nepal Adivasi Janajati Upliftment National Foundation Act. If a listed caste has more than one surname, certification of the surname within the listed caste must be obtained from the Chief District Officer on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level and attached.

Madhesi: Based on certification as Madhesi from an institution designated by the Government of Nepal through publication in the Nepal Gazette. Until such an institution is designated, certification as Madhesi must be obtained from the Chief District Officer on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level and attached.

Dalit: Based on the list of castes listed by the National Dalit Commission. If a listed caste has more than one surname, certification of the surname within the listed caste must be obtained from the Chief District Officer on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level and attached.

Persons with Disabilities: A disability certificate certified by the Social Welfare Council on the recommendation of an approved doctor must be scanned and attached.

Backward Area: For permanent residents of Achham, Kalikot, Jajarkot, Jumla, Dolpa, Bajhang, Bajura, Mugu, and Humla, a citizenship certificate obtained from the concerned district showing permanent residence, and a certificate from the concerned rural municipality/municipality confirming current permanent residence at the same place must be scanned and attached.

Examination Information

Written Exam Location: The Public Service Commission will conduct the written exam at designated locations in the concerned province.

Exam Date and Center: Will be informed by publishing a notice.

Same Post, Multiple Advertisements: The written exam for a post will be held on the same day and time. Candidates who submit application forms for more than one advertisement for the same post can participate in the written exam of only one advertisement.

Validity of Documents

Regarding educational qualifications, inclusive certificates, experience, service period-related certificates, and other certificates, only those issued up to the application submission deadline (within the period mentioned in point 13) will be recognized.
