CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Sagarmatha Insurance Company Limited has been providing insurance services since 1996 is the first foreign joint venture (Ceylinco Insurance PLC, Sri Lanka) general insurance company of Nepal.

In line with the company's expansion and growth strategy, we seek to employ the number of potential candidates for corporate and branch offices (For both Inside & Outside Valley).   1. DEPUTY CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

This position will require DCEO to specifically look into the marketing and operation function. In doing so, s/he needs to formulate strategies to enhance the existing scenario and support the higher authority in directing and guiding the team. S/he will have to coordinate with respective branch and department head over creating the smooth operating system. It must be ensured that best business

practices are being executed to bring about synergy effect in performance.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in relevant subjects such as Banking & Insurance, Marketing, Accounts, Economics or Management.
  • Prior experience of minimum 7 years in Insurance/Banking sector at the managerial position.
  • Knowledge of Insurance Laws, Provision of Tariffs, Directives of Insurance Board, Labor law and Prior experience in Industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the business products, existing market trend, and practices.
  • Proficient in financial analysis.
  • Should have strong leadership personality with communication ability to motivate, guide and direct the team members.
  1. ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

This position will require AGM to specifically look into the marketing and operation function. In doing so, s/he needs to formulate strategies to enhance the existing scenario and support the higher authority in directing and guiding the team. S/he will have to coordinate with respective branch and department head over creating a smooth operating system.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in relevant subjects such as Banking & Insurance, Marketing, Accounts, Economics or Management.
  • Prior experience of minimum 5 years in insure rance sector at the managerial position.
  • In-depth knowledge of the business products, existing market trend, and practices.

  1. ASSISTANT MANAGER/DEPUTY MANAGER/MANAGER (MARKETING) — FEW
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably Master's degree) subjects such as Banking &insurance, Marketing; Economics or Management.
  • Prior experience of minimum 5 years in the insurance industry.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the products along with a wide business network.
  • Proficient in developing marketing plans and business development strategies.
  • Ability to penetrate and generate a new market.
  • Should have strong leadership personality with communication ability to motivate, guide and direct the team members.
  • Must be well-familiar with directives of the regulatory body.
  1. JR. OFFICER/OFFICER/SR. OFFICER (MARKETING/UNDERWRITING/CLAIMS/BANCASSURAN CE) — FEW
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably Master's degree) in relevant subjects such as Banking & Insurance, Marketing, Economics or Management.
  • Prior experience of minimum 3 years in the insuranceifinancial sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the policy coverage, processes, and tariff for Underwriting.
  • Sound Knowledge of related acts and regulation of office
  • Well-informed and updated in prevailing market trends and situations.
  • Ability to achieve the business target and enter into different market segments.
  • Must be client-oriented with strong communication and persuading skills.
  • Marketing General Insurance through branches of partners and non-partner's banks.
  1. TRAINEE DEVELOPMENT OFFICER/DEVELOPMENT OFFICER/SR. DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (MARKETING) JR. ASSISTANT/ASSISTANT/SR. ASSISTANT (HR/ADMIN/CLAIMS/UNDERWRITING) — FEW
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant subjects such as Banking & Insurance, Marketing, Economics or Management.
  • Priority will be given Insurance/financial sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the policy coverage, processes, and tariff for Underwriting.
  • Well-informed and updated in prevailing market trends and situations.
  • Ability to achieve the business target and enter into different market segments.
  • Must be client-oriented with strong communication and persuading skills.
  • Minimum one year of work experience in the relevant department is required
  • Good understanding of the claims procedure, operation, and settlement for Claim.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE
