National Health Training Center Opens Admission to Diploma in Biomedical Equipment Engineering

The National Health Training Center, Teku, under the Government of Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Food Hygiene, has opened admission to the Diploma in Biomedical Equipment Engineering (DBEE) program for Fiscal Year 2083/84.

Eligible and interested applicants may submit an online application by 11:59 pm on Thursday, Shrawan 14, 2083 BS. The Center published the admission notice on Asar 1, 2083 BS.

The program is affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).

Educational qualification Applicants must have passed the Proficiency Certificate Level in Science, 10+2, or Grade 12 from a recognized educational institution.
Age requirement Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Basis of selection Candidates will be selected based on the average Grade Point Average obtained in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE). Further details will be governed by the Examination Regulations, 2083.

The Center has divided the 30 available seats between full-fee and scholarship quotas.

The merit scholarship will be awarded to the candidate who obtains the highest score in the admission process.

Application Fee and Form Submission Process

Applicants wishing to compete under both the scholarship and full-fee quotas must submit separate online application forms.

  • Application fee: Rs. 1,000 for the full-fee quota and Rs. 1,000 for the classified free scholarship quota

  • Payment methods: Connect IPS or Khalti

Documents Required for Online Application

Applicants must upload scanned copies prepared from the original documents listed below:

  • Recent photograph and citizenship certificate

  • SLC/SEE and 10+2 transcripts

  • Character certificate

Additional Documents Required for Scholarship Applicants

Applicants seeking a classified free scholarship must upload a scanned copy of an original certification letter confirming that they studied for the SLC/SEE examination at a government or community school.

The letter must be certified by one of the following authorities:

  • The concerned local level

  • Education Coordination Unit

  • The concerned school

Students who studied at a government or community school must also upload the required certified letter accordingly.

Matters not mentioned in the notice will be governed by the Examination Regulations, 2083.
