Dhulabari Campus, established in 1992 (2048 BS), is a local learning space shaped by the people of Mechinagar-1, Jhapa. Built by the community for the community, it has grown into a trusted center for higher education.
The campus offers both university-level and technical programs through affiliations with Tribhuvan University (TU), Purbanchal University (PU), and the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Nepal.
A standout milestone was its recognition as the first community-run campus in Nepal to receive approval to run a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, marking a turning point for students in Eastern Nepal.

This four-year program, affiliated with Purbanchal University, prepares students to understand, plan, and build real-world infrastructure. To apply, students must have a science background and pass the university’s entrance exam.
The BBS program at Tribhuvan University provides students with a solid foundation in accounting, marketing, entrepreneurship, and business law. This course runs on an annual exam system and takes four years to complete.
Designed for future teachers, this program helps students learn how to teach and guide others. It encompasses both theoretical and practical components, including classroom practice and lesson planning.
Launched in 2013 under CTEVT, this 18-month course is designed for students aiming to become basic-level civil engineering technicians. It includes practical training, lab work, and field visits.
Admissions are announced each year ahead of the new session. Those applying for the BE Civil program are required to take an entrance exam. For BBS and B.Ed., students need to have completed Grade 12. SEE graduates are eligible for the Pre-Diploma program.
