Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
The Bachelor of Business Administration is a four-year, full-time undergraduate program structured across eight semesters. The Far Western University curriculum comprises 120 credits and brings together foundation courses, business core courses, specialization courses, synthesis courses, open electives, practicum work, and attachment-based learning.
The program introduces students to the functional areas of business and management while developing knowledge of economics, statistics, mathematics, information technology, behavioural sciences, and the legal environment of business. Business core courses focus on managerial concepts and practices, while specialization and elective components allow students to study selected areas in greater depth.
Project work, field-based assignments, industry visits, community engagement, and business attachment activities connect academic study with organisational and commercial settings. The curriculum also gives attention to research, business intelligence, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc CSIT)
The B.Sc. CSIT program follows an eight-semester structure with a total requirement of 137 credit hours. It begins with subjects such as English Grammar and Composition, Information Technology Fundamentals, Calculus and Analytical Geometry, Electronic Principles, and Programming Fundamentals and C Programming.
As students progress, they study Data Structures and Algorithms, Digital Logic Design, Computer Organization and Architecture, Object-Oriented Programming with C++, Operating Systems, Data Communication and Network, Database Management System, System Analysis and Design, and Theory of Computation.
The later semesters include Artificial Intelligence, Compiler Design, Simulation and Modelling, Graphics and Visual Computing, Cryptography, Java Programming, Software Engineering, Web Technology, research methodology, minor projects, and an internship. Elective options support programming, database, networking, and algorithmic study tracks.
Learning Facilities
