Overview
Located in Chyasal, Lalitpur, Himalaya College of Engineering (HCOE) is an esteemed institution that offers quality engineering education in Nepal. Established in 2000 AD, the College is affiliated to Tribhuvan University (TU), Nepal, and aims to produce competent engineering graduates who can contribute to the development of the nation.
Programs Offered
The College offers Bachelor of Engineering programs in Computer, Electronics and Communication, and Civil, Bachelor of Architecture, and B.Sc. in Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc CSIT) of Institute of Science and Technology. The College follows the standard laid down by IOE, and all the academic and administrative programs are maintained accordingly.
Infrastructure
Spread over an area of 19 and a half Ropani, the College has a seven-story building and five lab buildings, providing ample space for students and faculty members. The infrastructure is well-maintained and up-to-date, ensuring a conducive learning environment for the students.

The BE graduates of HCOE have shown professional competence in the fields of computer, electronics, and communication, civil engineering, and architecture. They have secured positions in renowned institutions in Nepal and abroad. Additionally, the HCOE students have achieved the highest scores in IOE semester examinations, a testament to the quality of education provided by the College.
Extra-Curricular Activities
Apart from academic excellence, HCOE also accords equal priority to extra-curricular activities. The College hosts inter-college and intra-college sports competitions every year, providing students with a platform to showcase their sporting skills. The robotics team of HCOE had secured the first position (Grand Prix) in an inter-engineering college competition held in Kathmandu in 2065. The club actively participates in many Robotics Competitions in Nepal and has also participated in Tech Fest organized by IIT Mumbai, India, in 2011 and 2013.
