Academic Profile

The campus runs the four-year B.Ed. under the annual examination system of the Faculty of Education, Tribhuvan University. The TU B.Ed. curriculum follows a 22-course structure carrying 2200 full marks across four academic years. It includes communication skills, professional core areas, specialization major and minor subjects, and teaching internship or practicum. The program is designed as both an academic and professional course for teacher preparation at the secondary level.

The course structure moves through first, second, third, and fourth year study. Students complete core areas such as General Nepali, General English, educational foundations, educational psychology, and curriculum and evaluation, along with specialization-based study and teaching practice.

Admission to the B.Ed. is open to students who have passed Grade 12, Higher Secondary, PCL, or an equivalent qualification, subject to the relevant TU B.Ed. entry requirements. Required documents include the academic transcript of Class 12 or equivalent, character certificate, migration certificate where applicable, transfer certificate, citizenship or birth certificate copy, passport-size photographs, completed admission form, fee payment receipt, and an equivalence certificate for foreign qualifications.
