BCA: The Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) is a three-year undergraduate program that focuses on the study of computer application concepts and programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, and more. The program aims to produce skilled IT professionals who can design, develop, and maintain software applications for various industries.
Bachelor of Computer Engineering: The Bachelor of Computer Engineering (BCT) is a four-year undergraduate program that covers both computer science and electrical engineering. The program aims to produce skilled computer engineers who can design, develop, and maintain hardware and software systems for various industries. ADMISSION GUIDELINES
For Engineering:
- Admission for Bachelor’s program in Engineering at LEC opens in July/August.
- Students interested in joining LEC must pass the entrance examination conducted by Institute of Engineering (IOE).
- Students with 10+2 in Science (Physical or Biological Group with Extra Math), Diploma in Engineering, A Level and scoring a minimum C grade in each individual subject in respective examinations are eligible to apply for the entrance test conducted by IOE, Pulchowk.
- IOE conducts entrance tests in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and Drawing.
- Those students interested in studying at LEC must pass the entrance exam of IOE.
For BCA:
- For admission in Bachelor’s program in Computer Application under TU, students must pass the entrance examination conducted by the Department of Arts & Humanities.
- Students with 10+2 in any stream and scoring a minimum D+ grade in 10+2 examinations are eligible to apply for the entrance test conducted by the Department of Arts and Humanities.
- Those students interested in studying at LEC must pass the entrance exam.
