Mandavya Multiple Campus (माण्डव्य बहुमुखी क्याम्पस, डमकडा, पाल्पा) is a community-owned campus in Tansen Municipality, Ward No. 9, Madanpokhara, Damkada, Palpa, Lumbini Province. Established in 1991 (2048 BS), the campus was founded to expand local access to higher education for students who otherwise had to travel to Tansen for bachelor-level study.

Mandavya Multiple Campus emerged from a local need for accessible higher education in the Madanpokhara and Damkada area. Before its establishment, many students from nearby schools had limited options for continuing bachelor-level study because traveling to Tansen was difficult and time-consuming. The campus took shape through community consultation, local participation, and a collective effort to create a permanent higher education institution in the area.
The decision to establish the campus was made in 2048 BS after discussions with educationists, social workers, and local representatives. A larger gathering at Damkada Secondary School endorsed the plan, selected the name “Mandavya,” and moved forward with land and organizational arrangements. Approval was later received from the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, and classes began on 2048 Poush 3. The first intake started with 36 students and 6 teachers, and the number of students reached 48 within the same month. This beginning reflects the campus’s community-rooted foundation and its role in widening local access to university education.
Mandavya Multiple Campus runs two bachelor-level programs under the annual system of Tribhuvan University.
A four-year full-time bachelor’s program under Tribhuvan University’s Faculty of Management. The BBS program follows the annual examination system. Its structure includes foundation courses, core business studies, concentration-area study, business research methods, and final project work in the fourth year. For admission, the standard TU eligibility for BBS applies: applicants should have completed 10+2 in business or commerce or an equivalent qualification recognized by TU, or have studied Mathematics or Economics as a full paper at the 10+2 level.
A four-year full-time bachelor’s program under Tribhuvan University’s Faculty of Education annual system. The standard TU B.Ed. structure includes communication skills, professional core courses, specialization major and minor study, and teaching practicum. Admission is open to students who have completed Grade 12, Higher Secondary, PCL, or an equivalent qualification, with subject-related entry requirements applying to specialization areas under the TU framework.
