Campus Background
Nirmal Multiple Campus was established to expand access to bachelor-level education in the western part of Makwanpur. Students in the region had limited local options for continuing higher education after Ten Plus Two (+2), especially in remote and rural areas.
The campus began with the Faculty of Humanities in 2067 B.S. (2010 A.D.). The B.Ed. program started in 2069 B.S. (2012 A.D.), followed by the BBS program in 2070 B.S. (2013 A.D.). Since then, the campus has continued to offer bachelor-level study in Humanities, Education, and Management.
Its establishment reflects local efforts to create a community-based institution that could serve students from western Makwanpur and surrounding settlements.
Location and Regional Setting
The campus is located in Bastipur in Makwanpur District, Bagmati Province. It lies along the Mahendra Highway, around 11 kilometers west of Hetauda.
Students come from areas such as Kankada, Khairang, Raksirang, Manahari, Sarikhet, Dadakhark, and Bhimphedi. The student population includes learners from Chepang, Tamang, Dalit, Muslim, Magar, Danuwar, Bankariya, and other indigenous and economically disadvantaged communities.
In this regional context, the campus has become a local option for undergraduate study for students who might otherwise need to travel farther to continue their education.

Its social involvement includes awareness programs related to environmental conservation on World Environment Day, participation in programs organized by community organizations and institutions, support for vaccination campaigns during the COVID-19 pandemic, and involvement in community-based activities as needed.
Community support has also contributed to campus development through enrollment campaigns, financial contributions, and administrative assistance linked to grants and campus operation.
