Bachelor of Computer Application
The BCA is an eight-semester program completed over four academic years. English is the medium of instruction and examination. Students are required to maintain at least 80 percent attendance in lectures, tests, and tutorial classes to qualify for the final examination of a subject.
The curriculum begins with subjects such as Computer System Concepts, Mathematics-I, Technical English, Computer Programming in C, and Digital Logic. Later semesters include Data Structure and Algorithm, Computer Architecture, System Analysis and Design, Operating System, Computer Network, and Database Management System.

Bachelor of Information Technology

Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application
PGDCA is a one-year postgraduate diploma with 20 seats. The program covers computer application areas including programming, database systems, and software development.

Master of Computer Application

Admission and eligibility

BCA-IT eligibility
Applicants may qualify through +2 or equivalent with at least a D grade in each subject, with D+ applying under the old grading system, and an aggregate GPA of at least 2.0.
Applicants may also qualify with at least 45 percent marks in Intermediate or through a three-year diploma in any stream.
For A Level, applicants must have at least an E grade in each subject or an aggregate of 45 percent.
BIT eligibility
BIT applicants may qualify through +2 or equivalent with at least a D grade in each subject, with D+ applying under the old grading system, and an aggregate GPA of at least 2.0.
The criteria also include at least 45 percent at Intermediate level with Mathematics or Computer Science carrying 100 marks, or a three-year diploma in any stream.
For A Level, applicants must have at least an E grade in each subject or an aggregate of 45 percent.
PGDCA-IT eligibility
Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 40 percent aggregate marks or a GPA of 2.0.
BTech in Artificial Intelligence eligibility
Applicants may qualify after Grade XII with Physics, Chemistry, and English together with Biology, Mathematics, or Computer Science, with a GPA of 2.00 or at least 45 percent marks.
The eligibility criteria also cover +2 Science, I.Sc., or PCL with the specified subject combination and academic threshold.
A Diploma in Engineering or equivalent is also included when the required subjects and minimum academic criteria are met.
For A Level, applicants must meet the stated requirements in Physics, Chemistry, English, and Biology, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
The BCA and BTech in Artificial Intelligence regulations also require applicants to pass the entrance examination conducted by Purbanchal University.
