Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA)
Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) is a four-year, eight-semester program. The program carries 126 credit hours and includes computer application core courses, electives, mathematics and statistics, language courses, social sciences and management courses, projects, and internships.
BCA covers areas such as computer fundamentals, programming, data structures and algorithms, system analysis and design, object-oriented programming in Java, web technology, operating systems, software engineering, database management, networking, mobile programming, cyber law and professional ethics, cloud computing, internship, and project work.
Eligibility: BCA applicants must have completed PCL, 10+2, or equivalent in Management, Science, Education, Humanities, or another recognized stream. Students must have studied English as a full paper and must meet the minimum requirement of 45% marks or 2 CGPA, with no less than D+ in any single subject. Applicants must pass the TU entrance examination.
Bachelor in Information Technology Management (BITM)
Bachelor in Information Technology Management (BITM) is a semester-based program combining management, analytical and support courses, information technology and computing courses, electives, and internship or industrial attachment project work. The total credit structure is 126 credit hours.
The program includes management subjects, mathematics, business communication, computer information systems, programming, data communication and networks, accounting, database systems, computer graphics, software engineering, computer security and cyber law, specialization courses, summer project, and internship.
Eligibility: BITM applicants must have a minimum CGPA of 1.8 in Grade 11 and 12 or second division marks in 10+2, PCL, or equivalent in any discipline. Applicants must pass the TU CMAT entrance.
Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS)
Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) is a four-year annual-system program under Tribhuvan University’s Faculty of Management. The program focuses on business, administration, accounting, economics, finance, management, marketing, research methods, entrepreneurship, and final project work.
