Shigas Education Campus

Shigas Education Campus (शिगास शिक्षा क्याम्पस) is a community-owned campus in Ganjari, Sigas Rural Municipality, Baitadi district, Sudurpashchim Province, Nepal. It was established in 2012 AD on 2069 Mangsir 14 B.S. / 2069-08-14 B.S.

The campus is affiliated with Tribhuvan University for bachelor-level education and is connected with NEB for Ten Plus Two education. It is also supported by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Nepal.

Eligibility: Applicants must have completed Grade 12, Higher Secondary, or an equivalent qualification for admission to the four-year Bachelor of Education program.

Ten Plus Two in Education

Ten Plus Two in Education at Shigas Education Campus is connected with NEB and covers Class 11 and Class 12.

The program provides a foundation in education studies. It includes areas such as the meaning and functions of education, curriculum, educational administration, guidance and counseling, trends in education, and education in Nepal.

Duration: Class 11 and Class 12, 2 years

Eligibility: Students entering Grade 11 must have completed Grade 10 and obtained a minimum average GPA of 1.6 in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE).

Academic Administration

Bachelor-level academic processes at Shigas Education Campus follow the applicable Tribhuvan University framework. For TU annual-system bachelor programs, final examinations are conducted by Tribhuvan University through the Office of the Controller of Examinations.

For Ten Plus Two education, Class 11 admission, enrollment, and subject registration are completed under the NEB framework. Class 12 is the final national board examination stage under NEB.
