Established in 2076 BS (2019 AD), Bigu Polytechnic Institute is a community-based technical school located in Laduk, Ward No. 4, Bigu Rural Municipality, Dolakha. The institute is affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) and offers a 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering. This course is intended for SEE graduates interested in developing practical skills in civil construction, surveying, and infrastructure-related work.
The Diploma in Civil Engineering is a full-time, six-semester program that prepares students for technical and field-based engineering roles. The program accepts 48 students each year, including 4 scholarship seats allocated under CTEVT’s reservation policy. All applicants must pass the CTEVT entrance examination.
