Attendance and Annual Examination

Final evaluation is carried out through annual examinations conducted by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Tribhuvan University. Students must pass the theoretical, practical, and project components separately where a course contains more than one form of assessment.

A student cannot appear in the second-year final examination without first appearing in the first-year final examination.

Final Project Work

Final project work is an academic requirement for fourth-year BBS students. It gives students direct exposure to an organization and allows them to study an issue related to their concentration area.

Students spend four weeks studying and learning from an organization during the period fixed by the campus. After completing the fieldwork, they prepare a project report in the format prescribed by the Faculty of Management.

The project may include a presentation before faculty members or the class. A team of internal and external examiners evaluates the report, and the concerned campus research committee conducts the final viva voce examination.

The project carries 50 marks and must be completed separately from the theoretical courses.

Graduation Requirements

To receive the BBS degree, students must complete the academic requirements prescribed by Tribhuvan University.

These requirements include:

• Successful completion of 19 courses carrying 1,950 marks.

• Submission and successful completion of the 50-mark final project.

• Separate passing scores in theoretical, practical, and project components.

• Completion of all course requirements within the time limit prescribed by Tribhuvan University.
