The PCL in Ayurveda and General Medicine at Himalayan Ayurveda Medical Science College, located in Buddhanagar, Kathmandu, is a three-year diploma program affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Nepal.
This program is designed to train students in both Ayurvedic and general medical practices, preparing them to serve in primary healthcare settings across Nepal.

The course spans three academic years, each lasting approximately 39 weeks. Students must maintain at least 90% attendance to qualify for final examinations.
First Year: Introduction to Ayurveda, Sanskrit, basic sciences, and human anatomy

Third Year: Clinical practice, diagnosis, Panchakarma, and field-based community healthcare

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
Completion of Secondary Education Examination (SEE) with a minimum Grade C in Science, Mathematics, and English and a GPA of 2.0 or above
OR hold a TSLC certificate in a related field with a score of at least 66.68%
All candidates must also pass the entrance exam conducted by CTEVT
